In 2004, an innovative program called Musical POKR (Post Operative Knee Rehabilitation) was established by orthopaedic surgeons, Drs. Thomas Ryan and Blake Ohlson, and Mr. Ryan Adams. This unique approach to healing modifies traditional rehabilitation methods by incorporating music written and performed by the founders. This therapy has shown to reduce rehabilitation time and costs, while increasing patient satisfaction.
